EpioBuilder Take a closer look at the EpioBuilder Framework.

The EpioBuilder Framework is an overall architecture delivering a template for building enterprise web solutions.

The Framework is advanced technology for developers working with component-based solutions and web services. It offers a new means of building component-based business solutions rapidly. This new process involves using templates for generating systems that delivers on the promise of web service technology.

The Development model
Based upon an N-tier model of application design, the EpioBuilder Framework provides the means to rapidly produce fully enabled, reliable and reusable component-based web applications/web services.

The N-tier architecture also enables more effective and efficient integration of applications and tiers, therefore allowing applications to be easily upgraded and modified.

The Business Object Framework
This layer is basically a template for creating components. These components would provide the main processing logic within an application.

Applciation Applications
Applications are flexible online business services that can be placed at any level in the Epiowave enterprise system/portal site.

Epiowave applications can seamlessly exchange information, yet remain functionally independent of each other.

The Business Services Registry
This is an object factory for business objects within the Framework, where a business object is defined as an implemented piece of business process / function. This layer provides developers with a single interface to business objects therefore allowing them to call many different types of objects from within their application while using the same interface. These business objects may be BOF components (mentioned above) or external business objects in the form of web services. The business objects are registered in the registry where XML metadata is stored. This metadata describes the object's interface and implementation details.

The Presentation Framework
This layer deals with the interface to and interaction with the end user of the application. This part of the Framework creates a presentation sub-architecture which is device/browser agnostic.
