Epionet Ltd. has closed its Irish €1.9 million first round of funding

Dublin-based software company Epionet Ltd., has closed its Irish €1.9 million first round of funding from private investors and the Alliance Fund, an affiliate of Glasgow, Scotland-based Royal Bank of Scotland, at a valuation of Irish €31.74m.

Last year, the 24-person company closed a €634,869 seed round from private investors in Ireland. Founded in 1993, the company had previously funded itself by accepting consulting projects.

The company will use the fresh capital to expand marketing of its knowledge management software product aimed at the corporate user to the United Kingdom and United States.
